Low Ratings For American Music Awards
ABC’s broadcast of the American Music Awards on Sunday night had the lowest ratings in the history of the awards show. 8.2 million people watched the broadcast, and apparently only 2.4 percent of viewers in the show's target demographic tuned in to watch. The AMAs previous worst record was in 2012 with 9.5 million viewers. However, ABC says it was still their highest-rated Sunday night since May, other than the Emmys.
