Oscar's viewers hit an all-time low
The viewership ratings for the 90th Academy Awards hit an all-time low with 26.5 million viewers. The Jimmy Kimmel lead event, which is the pinnacle for Hollywood celebrating its own creations, failed to attract more viewers than people realized. This might have a lot to do with the millions of people per year who will become court cutters, or the fact that many people are tired of Hollywood and politics, or the Oscar nominations do not reflect the viewing habits of moviegoers.
